A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday for Donald G. Boehm Sr., 87, of Tracy, who died Tuesday at his home.

Mr. Boehm, a native San Franciscan, owned Superior Tire & Wheel of Hayward for 40 years, retiring in 1995. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea, attaining the rank of technician fourth grade.

He had lived in Tracy for the past year.

Survivors include four sons, Steven Boehm, and his wife, Christine, of San Ramon, Donald G. Boehm Jr. of Camarillo and Ernie Boehm and Eric Boehm, and his wife, Jean, all of Tracy; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Marie and Al Boehm.

The Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. A vigil will take place from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. that same day at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave. Burial will be in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road, with military honors.
