The Tracy Press is moving next week from its current location at 131 W. 10th St. to its permanent new home at 95 W. 11th St., Ste. 101.

The Press offices on 10th Street will be open through noon Friday, July 25. The new offices will open at 9 a.m. July 29.

“We are very excited about moving to our new office space,” Tracy Press co-publisher Will Fleet said. “We are especially pleased to remain in the downtown Tracy area.”

Fleet noted that Tank Town Media LLC — the company he owns with his business partner, Ralph Alldredge — had signed a long-term lease at the new location.

“We are very bullish on the economic future of Tracy and the Tracy Press,” Fleet said.

The move will not affect home delivery or the service the staff provides to the people and businesses of Tracy and Mountain House. The move allows the Press to consolidate its operations and stay at the heart of the community.

“Byron Alvarez, Bill Pollard and Tim Wheeler made a commitment to downtown Tracy when they purchased the Tracy Press building last year,” Fleet said. “We congratulate them and wish them the best. That building is an important part of downtown revitalization.”
