Swimming: Tritons fourth at Seadog swim meet

The Tracy Tritons finished in fourth place among five teams at the Seadogs Invitational on Saturday at Pitman High School in Turlock

The Turlock Seadogs won the meet with a team score of 1,175.5, while the Tritons scored 718.5 team points.

The Tritons had their best showing in the 13-14 girls division. Clara Ho won the 100 freestyle (1:00.80), and Lindsay Price won the 50 breaststroke (35.13). The 13-14 girls relay teams, which included Ho, Price, Dani Rozal and Brenda Nguyen, won the 200 medley relay (2:11.29) and the 200 freestyle relay (1:56.28).

Tritons swimmer Lela Ziller, in the 7-8 girls division, won two events, the 25 backstroke (20.02) and the 25 breaststroke (21.70). Kaylah Aguilar won the 6-and-under girls 25 backstroke (26.11), Daniel Mehlhaff won the 7-8 boys 25 backstroke (21.83), Shannon Daviscourt won the 15-16 girls 50 breaststroke (34.80) and Bryan Walther won the 15-16 boys 100 breaststroke (1:14.81).
