Herta F. Harding, 90, a Tracy resident for more than 50 years, died Monday at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. Arrangements will be handled by Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., in accordance with Mrs. Harding’s wish to be buried alongside her husband in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Road, in Gustine. A guest book can be viewed online.

Larry Re, 89, a World War II veteran and 37-year resident of Tracy, died Saturday. Burial will be private in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements, and a guest book can be viewed online. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Re’s name may be sent to the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church Building Fund, 163 W. Eaton Ave., Tracy, CA 95376.

Yvette M. Duran, 43, a former Tracy resident, died Friday at her home in Stockton with her family around her. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements.

America Garcia, 88, a member of Tracy Southern Baptist Church, died Friday in Tracy. A celebration of her life will begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., followed by a committal service at Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed beginning at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. A guest book can be viewed online.

Guy Stewart, 66, of Tracy, died at home June 4. A memorial is planned Saturday and Sunday at his home, 8015 W. 11th St. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements, and a guest book can be viewed online.

Edith Claire Harding, 92, a former longtime Tracy resident, died June 3 in Nashville, Ind. A graveside celebration of life and burial of the urn will be scheduled in September at Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road; details are pending. Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home of Nashville is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society.

Gwendolyn Mary Kurtzner, 90, of Tracy, a homemaker, died June 3 at Tracy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. A gathering with food will follow, also at the funeral home.

Donna Boyd, 58, a Tracy High School alumna who taught kindergarten at Hirsch Elementary School, died May 31 after battling cancer. A celebration of her life will begin at 1:30 p.m. June 22 at Tracy Community Center, 950 East St. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions to a trust fund at Bank of America, Brianna Boyd in Trust for Donna Boyd, Account No. 325040458274. All contributions will go directly to Santa’s Helpers, a nonprofit founded by Mrs. Boyd.

Lynnette P. Hockensmith, 71, of Tracy, died May 29. As she had wished, no services are planned. Burial was in Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos-Almaden Road, in San Jose, near her mother’s gravesite. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., handled arrangements, and a guest book can be viewed online.
