West Coast Soccer’s girls under-16 Wild won its second straight Nor Cal Premiere Soccer State Cup on May 10 with a 2-1 win over Santa Clara Sporting at the Mary Grogan Soccer Complex.

Wild includes Mountain House players Miciah Madison and Alyssa del Castillo, and the team is coached by Tracy resident Troy Dayak, founder and coaching director of West Coast Soccer. The team competed in the U16 State Division, the top level of State Cup competition.

Santa Clara Sporting had a 1-0 lead at the half, and Wild tied it up in the 46th minute on a goal from Sydni Lunt after she got a cross from Hanna Beauchamp. The teams finished regulation play tied at 1-1, and Wild’s Kasidee Wiley scored three minutes into the first overtime on pass from Beauchamp.
