A celebration of life will be Friday for Moises Sousa Felix, 85, a longtime Tracy resident who died Tuesday at his home.

Mr. Felix was born Jan. 25, 1929, in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal and immigrated to the United States in 1966. He lived in the same house in Tracy from 1971 until his death. Mr. Felix worked as a grocery store manager and was involved with local Portuguese organizations.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Margarida Felix of Tracy; two sons, Jorge Felix and Rui Felix, both of Salida; four daughters, Anna Fink of Crestline, Grace Tuck of Rancho Mirage, Luisa Paulo of Manteca and Angela Roy of Modesto; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are a brother, Augustino Sousa of Tracy; and two sisters, Eugenia Teixeira of Tracy and Cici Felix of Madeira, Portugal.

Another brother, Jorge Felix, preceded him in death.

Friday’s celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave.
