The Lammersville Unified School District board voted unanimously to hire three new coaches for Mountain House High School on Wednesday at the board’s regular meeting. They are the first program-specific coaches hired to start their respective athletic teams in the 2014-15 school year.

Football coach Jason McCloskey comes from Central Valley High School in Ceres, where he has coached the Hawks football team for the past two years, including the Hawks first playoff appearance in 2013. McCloskey informed the Ceres Unified School District in February that he would resign his position as coach and physical education teacher at Central Valley High at the end of the school year, according to a Feb. 20 report in the Modesto Bee.

Volleyball coach Heather Lamb coached varsity volleyball at Livermore High School for three seasons, 2010 to 2012, and is also the director of Altamont Volleyball Club, which trains competitive teams up to the 18-and-under age group.

Soccer coach Chris Faidley comes from California High School in San Ramon, where he has been the Grizzlies varsity boys coach since 2009.
