The Franklin High Yellow Jackets didn’t stand a chance against the hard-hitting Bulldogs on Wednesday in Stockton.

Tracy High (11-5, 6-2 San Joaquin Athletic Association) got the 11-0 win after the Bulldogs blasted 15 base hits, including five doubles. Sophomore Thomas Greely batted in three runs, senior Aaron Denholm had three hits, and seniors Dustin Dibble and Anthony Nunez each had two hits and two RBIs.

Meanwhile, the Tracy pitching staff shut down Franklin (3-11-1, 0-7 SJAA) at the plate. Sophomore Brett Mansell got the win after he pitched three innings, gave up one hit and struck out five batters. Greely and freshman Chandlyr Metal each pitched an inning and struck out every batter they faced.
