Farmers market opens
Local residents turned out Saturday for the first downtown farmers market of 2014. The market, sponsored by the Tracy City Center Association and run by San Joaquin Certified Farmers’ Market, takes over 10th Street between B Street and Central Avenue from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays until Nov. 22.
TCCA is also bringing back the farmers market on Wednesdays from 4 to 8 p.m. starting June 4. Those midweek markets, also on 10th Street between B and Central, will run until Aug. 27.
