In Service: Private completes basic training

Pvt. Brenda J. Ramirezlima has graduated from U.S. Army basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.

Among the topics covered in her nine weeks were Army traditions, physical fitness, weapons and combat skills, field tactics, military justice and first aid.

A 2012 graduate of West High School, she is the daughter of Ana Lima of Tracy.
