Members of GFWC Tracy Woman’s Club recently honored four high school sophomores they will send to attend the Northern California Youth Leadership Seminar at the University of California, Berkeley, in May.

Rayna Archuleta from Kimball High School, Yesenia Betancourt from West High School, Renee Cifa from Millennium High School and Sarah Kuczma from Tracy High School were recognized at the club’s meeting Friday at the Elks Lodge.

Each of the four was selected by her school’s counseling staff and the student who participated last year.

Tracy Woman’s Club bears the cost of sending the girls to the seminar, which runs May 23 through 25.

Students attending the conference will learn leadership skills, practice public speaking and participate in team-building activities.
