The conference room was filled to overflowing Tuesday when Tracy Leadership Toastmasters Club had its April Fool’s Day open house.
Guests heard stories of April Fool’s pranks and the origin of celebrating April Fool’s Day.
David Tabora, a new member of the club, spoke about how much he had learned in the past six months. Refreshments were served with a side of laughter.
Tracy Leadership Toastmasters Club meets at noon Tuesdays at City Hall. This week’s meeting will be in Room 109.

Easter breakfast tickets on sale
Tickets have gone on sale for the 39th annual Easter Sunday Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the Tracy Latin Athletic Club.
The April 20 breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. to noon at Tracy Community Center, 950 East St.
The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, chorizo, sausage, coffee, milk, juice and dessert.
Tickets, which can be purchased in advance or at the door Easter Sunday, are $7 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and children 10 and younger.
Proceeds will go to the Tracy Latin Athletic Club Scholarship Program.
Advance tickets can be purchased at Vita Dolce, 11 E. Sixth St., and Neyman Insurance, 49 E. 10th St., Ste. B.
