EDITOR,

I read Dave Olmstead’s article ((Your Voice, April 25, “Aircraft engine noise unacceptable”) and totally agree with him. I’ve read that the stunt pilots are to stay in a certain air space, but living close to Valpico Road, I know for a fact that they have been way too close to us to be legal.

It’s frightening (and the noise annoying) to watch them so close to residential areas and schools. You just hope they know what they’re doing and that their equipment doesn’t fail.

Every time I read an article in the paper regarding a single-engine plane that has had a mishap and landed on a house or in a school yard, I’m reminded that it could happen here.
