A celebration of life will be April 4 for Marcella Mae (Jaminski) Bergmann, 93, of Tracy, who died Friday.

A native of Virginia, Minn., Mrs. Bergmann was born June 22, 1920. She had lived in Tracy the past eight years.

She was a Red Cross volunteer in San Francisco during the 1940s and retired to Newport Beach in 1987 after working as manager of Almond Plaza in San Jose.

Survivors include a son, Blair Bergmann, and his wife, Carol, of Tracy; a brother, Richard Jaminski of Brooklyn Center, Minn.; a sister, Lenore Briede of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; and three nieces.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 53 years, Oliver Bergmann; and a son, Brent Bergmann.

The April 4 celebration of Mrs. Bergmann’s life will begin at noon at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. Burial will follow in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. An online guest book can be signed at www.frymemorialchapel.com.
