Services will be Friday, March 28, for Josephine M. “Jay” Correia, 89, of Tracy, who died March 7 at New Hope care center. Mrs. Correia, a native of Niagara Falls, N.Y., was born May 13, 1924. She had lived in Tracy 38 years. Survivors include two children, Donald J. McDowell Jr., and his wife, Teresa, of Littleton, Colo., and Lonna McDowell of Watsonville; and three grandchildren. Her husband of 29 years, Manuel George Correia, died in 2006. Friday’s memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave. Burial will follow in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E.
