Ina Silveira, 84, a former Banta and Tracy resident who moved to Tennessee two years ago, died in February at her home.

Mrs. Silveira was born Nov. 17, 1929. She lived in Banta for several years before marrying and moving to Tracy. She worked at the local H.J. Heinz Co. cannery and 24 years as a lead at the Laura Scudders factory.

Survivors include her sons and their families.

Her husband of 42 years, Manuel L. Silveira, preceded her in death in 2009.
