For two weeks students view the art in private, docent-led children’s tour during the morning and early afternoon. The Tracy Art League has seven docents, including teachers, who volunteer to lead the school tours, which last about half an hour.
Docents lead discussion on topics from art styles to the different materials used as they look at local works of art grouped by theme.
The children’s tours are sponsored by the city of Tracy Youth Services.
Student tours conclude today, and the last public viewing is all week from 3 to 7 p.m. Admission is free.
After the show closes, the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts will display “Expressions Selections,” a gallery show curated by cultural arts manager William Wilson that features works chosen from “Expressions.” That show will be from March 29 to May 3.
