Services will be Sunday for Michael Weeks Sr., 47, of Tracy, who had been diagnosed with cancer and died Feb. 5 at his home.

Mr. Weeks was born Jan. 2, 1967, in Santa Clara and worked 30 years as a butcher for Nob Hill and Raley’s grocery stores in the Bay Area. He coached for Tracy Little League until a year ago.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Cheryl Weeks of Tracy; two children, Shelby Rae Weeks and Michael Allen Weeks Jr., both of Tracy; his mother, Ada Weeks of Tracy; a brother, William H. Weeks of San Jose; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his father, William Max Weeks; and a sister, Cynthia Leanne Weeks.

A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave. Burial will be private.
