Freiler School Principal Karen Alcorn watched as students bought strips of duct tape to bind her to the wall of the multipurpose room during an Associated Student Body fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday. Students could buy a strip of tape for $1. Alcorn, 43, has been the principal at Freiler for three years and had never before been duct taped to the school’s wall. The money raised will pay for dances and other activities. Students at the K-8 school have taped four teachers to the wall this year.

No word on whether Alcorn was eventually let down.
