Marko, a 10-month-old male German shepherd mix, is full of energy and ready to play. He can be adopted from the Tracy Animal Shelter, which is open from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at 370 Arbor Road. The shelter staff is seeking donations of canned food for dogs and cats, dog toys, flea shampoo and puppy and kitten formula. Alice, a 9-month-old dilute tortoiseshell mediumhair, is described as a large, happy-go-lucky kitten. She likes to play with other animals and children. Alice is vaccinated, spayed and ready to be adopted. Animal Rescue of Tracy is a nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group that has pet adoption fairs for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays in the Macy’s wing of the West Valley Mall, 3200 Naglee Road.
