A celebration of life will be Saturday for Robin Garcia, 59, of Manteca, a former Tracy resident, who died Jan. 23 in Modesto.

Born Nov. 4, 1954, in Alameda, Mrs. Garcia moved to Tracy in 1982 and then moved to Manteca three years ago. She retired as manager of the Pittsburg Department of Motor Vehicles. She was also active in several ministries at her church, Christian Worship Center in Manteca.

Survivors include three sons, John Anthony Garcia, and his wife, Roxanne, of Kansas Rosario Garcia, and his wife, Victoria, of Manteca and Joaquin Garcia, and his wife, Dona, also of Manteca; two stepchildren, Nancy Blea of Tracy and Richard Quihuis, and his wife, Josie, of San Jose; and 12 grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Roy Garcia; parents, Frances and John Howard; and sister, Dianne Cohee, and her husband, Charles.

The celebration of her life will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christian Worship Center, 786 Button Ave., in Manteca. P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, is handling arrangements, and condolences can be shared via www.plfryandson.com.
