John ‘Rusty’ Patzer

Graveside services will be Tuesday for John “Rusty” Patzer, 47, a Tracy native who recently moved to Modesto.

He died Jan. 21 at Doctors Medical Center of Modesto after a brief illness.

Born Aug. 13, 1966, Mr. Patzer lived in Tracy 45 years and moved to Modesto four months ago. He worked 15 years as a house painter and was a member of Fresh Start Ministries of Modesto.

Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Patzer of Sonora; twin sons, Zachary Patzer and Jacob Patzer, both of Stockton; his father, John Richard Patzer of Manteca; a sister, Kimberly Juarez of Lodi; and three nieces.

His mother, Earline Patzer, preceded him in death in 2007.

Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. that same day in the chapel at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave.

John we became close,brother and sister in christ. I am truly devastated by your passing. I do have peace in knowing that you are in heaven, i of you for wanting better and doing everyrhing in your power to change. RIP JOHN PATZER I WILL MISS YOU .LOVE YOU
