Rene John Sanchez, 46, of Tracy, a U.S. Army veteran, died Monday, Jan. 27, at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Palo Alto. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery. A reception will follow at 27744 S. Fairoaks Road. Visitation will be observed from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Robert Lee “Bob” Woodward Jr., 62, a Tracy High School graduate, died Monday, Jan. 27, in San Jose. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., followed immediately by graveside services at Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. that same day at the funeral home. Waldo “Walt” Lillemoe, 73, a longtime Tracy resident who retired from Defense Depot San Joaquin, died Saturday, Jan. 25, at Kaiser Modesto Medical Center after a brief illness. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Feb. 12 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Details of a reception following the Mass are pending. Contributions in Mr. Lillemoe’s name may be sent to St. Bernard’s new church building fund, 163 W. Eaton Ave., Tracy, CA 95376.

Robin Garcia, 59, of Manteca, a former Tracy resident, died Thursday, Jan. 23, in Modesto. A celebration of her life will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Christian Worship Center, 786 Button Ave., in Manteca. Arrangements will be handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, in Manteca.

John “Rusty” Patzer, 47, a Tracy native who recently moved to Modesto, died Jan. 21 at Doctors Medical Center of Modesto after a brief illness. Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. that same day in the chapel at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave.

Herman Dixon Sr., 92, a 17-year Tracy resident, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Palo Alto. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, in the Hotchkiss Mortuary chapel, 5 W. Highland Ave., followed by burial with honors in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 9 to 11 a.m. that same day at the mortuary. Contributions in Mr. Dixon’s name may be sent to Alzheimer’s Aid Society, 2501 McHenry Ave., Ste. E, Modesto, CA 95350.

Danilo O. Hilario, 50, of Tracy, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. Graveside services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave.

Oscar G. Rodriguez, 76, of Tracy, a NASA retiree who worked part time at Save Mart Supermarkets, died Jan. 21 at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. Services will be private. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements.

• A memorial for Virginia Gonzales Gamino, 82, of Tracy, who died Jan. 20, will begin at 11 a.m. Feb. 8 at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. A celebration of her life will follow.

• Services for Bernice French, 89, a longtime Tracy resident who died Nov. 15, 2012, will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, in the chapel at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave. Inurnment will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, alongside her husband's remains in Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, in Dixon.

Artha Joyce “Debbie” Pruitt, 77, a longtime Tracy resident who worked as a sales clerk, died Jan. 6 at her home. Services have been conducted.
