Services will be Friday, Oct. 25, for Phillip David Castro, a Tracy native and Tracy High School graduate, who died Oct. 16 in San Francisco. He was 48.

Mr. Castro was born July 23, 1965. He played football and baseball for Tracy High and served in the United States Marine Corps. He lived in Patterson the past four years and was employed as an inventory supply clerk.

Survivors include his wife of 23 months, Lily F. Castro of Patterson; a daughter, Stephanie Castro of Mountain House; a son, Kylito Moreno of Patterson; two stepchildren, Pita Corral, and her husband, Raymond, and Andy Blea Jr., all of Tracy; a brother, Michael Thomas Castro; and six grandchildren.

His parents, Phillip and Noemi Castro, preceded him in death.

Friday’s service will begin at 1 p.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation was observed Thursday, Oct. 24.
