The Kimball High football team looks to break a two-game losing streak when they host the East Union High Lancers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4.

The Jaguars (1-3) will need to improve their offensive attack to get the victory.

This season, senior quarterback Ben Juarez has completed 10-of-36 passes for 169 yards. Senior running back Gaige Allen entered last week’s game averaging 116 yards but was held to 75 yards and one touchdown on two rushes. Juniors Rashard Cooper gained 59 yards on 17 carries while Dominique Dixon ran for 50 yards on 10 carries. Defense for the Jaguars will also need to maintain its gaps to keep the Lancers (1-3) out of the end zone. Last game against Sierra, the Jaguar defense surrendered 499 yards, including 350 yards passing, and four touchdown passes. • Contact the Tracy Press at 835-3030 or
