Hundreds of students and their families — including those above gathered around the booth for the University of California San Diego — packed the West High School gym to get information on college admissions on Monday, Sept. 30, during the fifth Tracy Unified School District College Fair.

The school district handed out more than 1,500 fliers to attendees at the college fair, which included representatives of 55 public and private colleges. Families participated in sessions on how to write personal statements, admissions requirements for University of California and California State University schools, athletic recruitment and the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
