Jo Asleson Patteson, 60, a West High School teacher and Tracy resident, died Aug. 16 at Stanford Hospital. Services will be private.

Mrs. Patteson was born Aug. 12, 1953, in Bozeman, Mont., and had lived in Tracy 18 years. She taught in the Space & Engineering Academy at West High.

Survivors include her husband of two months, Walter Patteson of Tracy; two sons, William Bennett of Belgrade, Mont., and Johan Riley of Santa Maria; her mother, Barbara Asleson of Bozeman; a brother, Stephen Asleson of Flagstaff, Ariz.; a sister, Carol Asleson-Banks of Bozeman; and one grandchild.

Her father, Johan Asleson, preceded her in death.

Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements.
