Theresa Gail Swanigan, 57, a longtime Tracy resident, died Sunday, Aug. 25, at her home. Services will be private.

Mrs. Swanigan was born April 6, 1956, on Beale Air Force Base in Yuba County. She had lived in Tracy 35 years and was a member of Grace Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Stan K. Swanigan of Tracy; a son, Christopher James Swanigan of Manteca; a daughter, Sara Jane Swanigan of Wrightsville, Pa.; her mother, Peggy Hodges of the Villages, Fla.; a brother, Jeff Hodges of Mount Dora, Fla.; a sister, Lori Rafael of Carterville, Ill.; six grandchildren; and two nephews.

Her father, Jerald Hodges, preceded her in death.

Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements. Burial will be in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road.

Contributions in Mrs. Swanigan’s name may be sent to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 3300 E. Sunrise Drive, Tucson, AZ 85718-3299.
