Your Voice: Thank you, Tracy’s finest

My first contact with the Tracy Police Department (after having lived in Tracy for 20 years) was when my scooter was stolen on June 23. Since then, it has been my privilege to meet some of the officers in the attempt to replace the scooter. A caller to the police department offered to donate a scooter to me. The scooter was in storage and four off-duty officers picked it up and delivered it to me. The scooter needed some new parts and the Tracy Police Officers Association donated a major part of that expense. Many thanks to the fine officers who were involved one way or another to give me my independence again!
