Services will be Aug. 9 for Albert J. Salazar, 85, of Tracy, who died July 15 at a Modesto hospital.

Mr. Salazar was born March 19, 1928, in Mancos, Colo., and had lived in Tracy for 33 years.

Survivors include five children, Albert Salazar of Manteca, Zeke Salazar of Sunnyvale, Denise Salazar-Huffaker of Tracy, Randy Salazar of San Jose and Julie Salazar-Pilcher of Tracy; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three siblings, Rosie Alvarado, Dorothy Fuentes and Jean Martinez, all of Utah; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Julia H. Salazar; his parents, Ezquiel and Eloisa Salazar; and a sister, Angelina Blair.

Services on Aug. 9 will begin at 1 p.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. Burial will follow.
