Mrs. Dumas, a native of Arkansas, was born July 21, 1935. She had lived in Tracy the past 26 years.
She worked 22 years in property management before retiring in 2009. Previously, she worked 25 years as a waitress for various restaurants and performed seasonal agricultural packing for many years.
Mrs. Dumas was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Tracy.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Melvyn Dumas of Tracy; five children, Floyd Hensley, and his wife, Patricia, of Red Bluff, Glenice Hatfield, and her husband, Kenneth, of Hesperia, Steven Dumas of Antioch, Cynthia Violette of Antioch and Rick Dumas, and his wife, Tamara, of Salinas; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three siblings, Nancy Heaps, and her husband, Roy, of Oroville, Florence Hensley, and her husband, Jim, of Bangor and George Terry of Oklahoma; and a sister-in-law, Claudia MacDonald of Aberdeen, Idaho.
Preceding her in death were her parents, John Terry and Elsie Eastum; and one grandson.
