Lula Faye Dumas, 77, a Tracy resident of 26 years, died Monday, July 22, at her home. No services are planned. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements.

Clarence Gene “Pa” Costa, 82, of Oregon, a Tracy native and Tracy High School graduate, died Monday, July 22. Visitation will be observed from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, July 29, at Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center, 287 S.W. Washington St., in Dallas, Ore. Burial will be private in Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore. A guest book can be viewed on the mortuary website.

Maria Liliana Velazquez Villasenor, 54, a resident of Tracy the past 14 years, who died Tuesday, July 23, at Valley Care Medical Center in Pleasanton. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, at Casa De Oracion Church, 2290 E. Market St., in Stockton, followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 29, at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave. Contributions in Mrs. Villasenor’s name may be sent to Casa De Oracion Church, 2290 E. Market St., Stockton, CA 95205.

Jerry D. Hetrick, 66, a retired carpenter who had lived in Tracy for 27 years, died Monday, July 22, in Tracy. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Aug. 1 in the chapel at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions in Mr. Hetrick’s name to Alzheimer-Dementia Support Center of Modesto, 700 McHenry Ave., Ste. B, Modesto, CA 95350.

• Lifelong Tracy resident Julia De Mello, 90, a homemaker, died Saturday, July 20, at Dameron Hospital in Stockton. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 29, in the chapel at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave. Burial will follow in Tracy Cemetery, 501 W. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 9 a.m. until the service time at the mortuary. Contributions in Mrs. Mello’s name may be sent to St. Bernard’s Building Fund, 163 W. Eaton Ave., Tracy, CA 95376.

Severiano Lira Juarez, a longtime Tracy resident who attended Tracy High School, died Friday, July 19, at age 65. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. July 31 at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., followed by graveside services at Tracy Cemetery, 501 W. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. that same day at the funeral home.

• A Mass will be said for Isabel J. Hurtado at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 29, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave. Graveside services will follow Tuesday, July 30, at Cypress Lawn, 1370 El Camino Real, in Colma. Public visitation will be observed from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave.
