At the shelter

Charlotte, a 3-year-old female Queensland-beagle mix, is recovering from a laceration to her abdomen and is ready for adoption at the Tracy Animal Shelter. The staff is seeking donations of canned food for dogs and cats, dog toys, puppy and kitten formula and flea shampoo. The shelter, 370 Arbor Road, is open from noon to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. For information: 831-6364 or
