Services were conducted this week for Celia (Vega) Medina, 79, of Tracy, who died June 26.

Mrs. Medina was born Nov. 4, 1933, in Mexico. She had lived in Tracy 63 years and worked 40 years for H.J. Heinz Co.

Survivors include two sons, Greg Medina Sr., and his wife, Rosemarie, and Edward Ruben Medina, all of Tracy; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are a sister, Martha Rodriguez, and her husband, Raul, of Tracy; and two brothers, Fabio Vega of Tracy and Freddie Vega, and his wife, Traci, of Utah.

Preceding her in death were her husband, John Medina; a son, Johnny Medina; and her parents, Rafael and Isabel Vega.

A Mass was celebrated at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., followed by graveside services in Tracy Cemetery, 501 W. Schulte Road. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., handled arrangements.
