Services were conducted in Phoenix for Doloras Yvonne (Stancil) Stowe, 76, a former Tracy resident, who died May 30 in a hospital in Tucson, Ariz.

Mrs. Stowe was born July 25, 1936, in Placerville and lived in Tracy for several years until 1965. She sang in the choir and played piano at her churches, including Grace Baptist Church in Tracy.

Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Gearty, and her husband, Mike, of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; two sons, Michael Stowe of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Stephen Stowe, and his wife, Barbara Stetter, of Raymond, Wash.; and six grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 60 years, James Norman “Jim” Stowe, who died in March; a daughter, Rebecca D. Gomes, and her husband, Ken; and her parents, George I. and Anita Stancil.

Mrs. Stowe was buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix alongside her husband.
