Services will be Saturday, June 8, in Manteca for Betty Cummins, 92, a former Tracy resident, who died April 24 in Springfield, Mo.

Mrs. Cummins, a native of Springfield, was a retired teacher. She was born Jan. 9, 1921.

She is survived by a son, Bernie Cummins, and his wife, Gay, of Manteca; a brother, Bernie Thompson of Fresno; a sister, Ann Harr of Minden; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Dale Cummins; a daughter, Barbara Shank; two brothers and two sisters; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A celebration of Mrs. Cummins’ life will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Community Church, 815 W. Lathrop Road, in Manteca.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a hospice of the donor’s choice.
