A celebration of life will be Tuesday, June 4, for Gaylord G. Evans, 70, of Manteca, a former Tracy resident, who died May 27 in Manteca.

Mr. Evans was born Feb. 26, 1943, in Huntsville, Ariz., and had lived in Manteca 13 years.

Survivors include three children, Gaylord Evans, and his wife, Nichole, of Manteca and Duane Evans and Dawn Jordan, both of Fayetteville, Ariz.; three stepchildren, Barry Yanke, and his wife, Tina, Deana Rouse, and her husband, Jeff, and Jeff Yanke, and his wife, Elaine, all of Tracy; a sister, Shirley Evans of Watts, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Janice Evans; parents, William Edward and Eutha Verna Evans; a brother, Gary Evans; and a sister, Gloria Grubb.

The celebration of Mr. Evans’ life will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. A guest book can be viewed at www.frymemorialchapel.com.
