Eldon Daniel Riggins, 84, a former Tracy resident, died March 29 at his home in Lathrop. No services are planned.

Mr. Riggins, a native of Drumright, Okla., was one of 13 children. He was born Jan. 28, 1929.

Known as “Dan the Welder,” he was self-employed as a welder and mechanic. He lived in Tracy for more than two decades beginning in the late 1970s.

Survivors include his wife, Bernice Riggins of Lathrop; two daughters, Cathy Lou Bateman and Tammy Riggins, both of Oklahoma; three sons, Eldon Daniel Riggins Jr., Danny Ben Riggins and Tony Leach, all of Oklahoma; and several grandchildren.
