Kimball High’s soccer team finished the regular season as Valley Oak League champions after going on the road Tuesday, April 30, to beat Lathrop 3-0.

It’s the first year the Jaguars (21-0-1, 13-0-1 VOL) have gone undefeated, which assured them home field advantage when the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II playoffs begin Tuesday, May 7.

Kimball freshman Maya Lopez scored unassisted against Lathrop (4-19-2, 0-14) in the 19th minute, and Kimball took a 2-0 lead into the half after sophomore Abby Dyer scored on an assist from freshman Miciah Madison in the 27th minute.

Sophomore Caitlyn Rodriguez scored unassisted in the 76th minute.
