Miss Manchester was born Oct. 26, 1993 and was a native of Walnut Creek. She had worked as a Target sales clerk in El Dorado Hills for the past year.
She lived in Tracy for 15 years, attending West High School until her sophomore year and playing on the varsity softball team as a freshman. She then moved to Garden Valley in El Dorado County to live with family.
Survivors include her mother, Cathy Manchester, and her boyfriend, Frank Garza, of Tracy; father, Doug Manchester, and his fiancée, Jenifer Carpenter, of Manteca; boyfriend, John Adams-Handy of Cool; and six siblings, Stephanie Peters, and her husband, Gordon, of Garden Valley, Brandon Manchester, Alyssa Avila and Christian Avila, all of Manteca, and Frankie Garcia and Raymond Garcia, both of Tracy.
Also surviving are four grandparents, a niece, a nephew and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
The funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church of Tracy, 1610 East St., followed by burial in Tracy Cemetery, 501 E. Schulte Road. Visitation will be observed from 10 to 11 a.m. that same day at the church. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements.
