Restituto “Rusty” Angeles, 79, a 15-year resident of Tracy, died Wednesday, April 10, at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. No services are planned at this time.

Mr. Angeles was born in the Philippines on Dec. 8, 1933. He worked 30 years as a taxi driver in that country and also worked three years as a custodian at Walmart in Tracy.

He was a parishioner of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church and a 15-year resident of Tracy.

Survivors include his children, Romero Angeles, and his wife, Beng, of Tracy, Ranilo Angeles, and his wife, Evelyn, of Hawaii, Lisa Uemura, and her husband, Kenji, of Japan, and Rolando Angeles, and his wife, Isang, Ross Angeles, Rome Angeles, Sonny Angeles and Pipo Angeles, all of the Philippines; siblings, Esther Webb and Delfa Taylor, both of Florida, and three sisters in the Philippines; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his wife of 43 years, Adoracion Angeles; and three children, Ricardo Angeles, Rojan Angeles and Olivia Angeles.

Inurnment will take place in the Philippines at a later date. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements.
