Services will be Saturday, April 6, for Eric Paul Henry Close, 47, of Tracy, who died Sunday, March 31, after battling cancer.

Born in Fresno on Dec. 10, 1965, Mr. Close lived in Fremont from age 4 until he moved to Tracy a year ago.

He worked 16 years as a sales manager for Wilson Bicycle Sales.

Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Close of Tracy; two stepsons, Jonathan Handall, and his wife, Sarah, of Bremerton, Wash., and Alexander Handall of Tracy; parents, Morris and Doris Close of Fremont; a sister, Cathy Oliveiri, and her husband, Richard; a grandson; and many extended family members.

The Saturday funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave. Visitation will be observed from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 5, at the funeral home. A guest book is online at www.frymemorialchapel.com.
