Norma Lorraine (Watkins) Johannes, 70, died Friday, March 22, at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. All services will be private.

Born in Stockton on June 16, 1942, Mrs. Johannes grew up in Tracy, attending local schools and graduating from Tracy Joint Union High School in 1960.

She worked 10 years as a loan officer for Uncle Credit Union in Livermore before leaving in 1999 to care for her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, F. Robert “Bob” Johannes of Tracy; a daughter, Caron Johannes of Manteca; a brother, Greg Watkins of Stockton, Mo.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Fred and Vina Watkins; and a son, Matthew Johannes.
