Sophomore Seth Suzuki led the Jaguars with first-place finishes in the 200-yard individual medley (2 minutes, 17.5 seconds) and the 100 butterfly (59.04).
Both times qualify him to swim in the freshman-sophomore races at the Sac-Joaquin Section meet May 9 to 11 at Tokay High in Lodi. Suzuki competed Friday as a varsity swimmer.
He led the 200 freestyle relay team — which included junior Josh Wagstaff, freshman Logan Steinberger and junior Justin Riccobono — to a first-place win with a time of 1:39.86.
The time qualified the team for the May 9 to 11 section meet in the varsity boys division.
Wagstaff also won the 50 freestyle (24.67) and 100 freestyle (57.66), freshman Nathan Gee won the 200 freestyle (2:25.00), and sophomore Alec Fairfield won the 500 freestyle (6:19.91). Kimball also won the 200 medley relay (1:57.00) and 400 freestyle relay (4:34.33).
Varsity girls

Kimball’s girls won first place in every event and had the top three swimmers in eight of the 11 events.
Sophomore Tori Gomez won both the 200 freestyle (2:29) and 100 fly (1:23.79), freshman Gaby Perez won both the 200 individual medley (2:46.50) and the 100 freestyle (1:07.85) and senior Sydnie Black won both the 50 freestyle (28.28) and 500 freestyle (6:29.20).
Also winning events were senior Courtney Andres in the 100 backstroke (1:15.12) and Jordyn sophomore Luna in the 100 breaststroke (1:25.82) and Kimball won the 200 medley relay (2:15.00), 200 freestyle relay (2:02.89) and 400 freestyle relay (4:40.52).
