The meeting is at 6 p.m. at the district office, 111 S. De Anza Blvd.
District spokeswoman Noel Balzarini said Superintendent Dale Hansen announced his retirement plans with the board during a closed session on March 6.
She said no official announcement was made, by the district. Hansen’s his last day is June 30.
Hansen is currently overseeing the construction of its first high school and fifth elementary school in Mountain House.
He was named the Region VII 2013 Superintendent of the Year by the Association of California School Administrators in January. The award is being presented during the ACSA spring conference from May 3-5 in South Lake Tahoe.
The reason behind Hansen’s departure has not been made public, and he was unavailable for comment on Thursday.
