This 3.5-year-old neutered shih tzu mix loves to play and go on walks, according to Animal Rescue of Tracy volunteers. He may be part Pomeranian or part Chihuahua. His brindle-and-white coat does not shed, but he needs regular grooming. Chico gets along well with people, cats and most other dogs, except dominant small female dogs. He is housetrained and current on vaccines and will be microchipped before adoption.
Animal Rescue of Tracy is a nonprofit, all-volunteer rescue group that has pet adoption fairs for dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays at the West Valley Mall, next door to Macy’s.
