Black Friday not only turned out thousands in the early-morning hours to find the best deals in town, it also saw a couple of calls surrounding the long lines at Best Buy and around Wal-Mart:

12:07 a.m.: A caller at Best Buy, 2550 Naglee Road, said a group of three men were driving around the parking lot trying to sell marijuana to people who were in line.

12:31 a.m.: A caller at Wal-Mart, 3010 W. Grant Line Road, reported that kids in a blue Honda threw water balloons at people that stood in line.

4:48 a.m.: An employee at Costco, 3250 W. Grant Line Road, reported that a line of people waiting for Wal-Mart to open was running 100 yards into the Costco parking lot, and Costco management wanted the people off their property.

4:45 a.m.: A security guard at Wal-Mart, 3010 W. Grant Line Road, said there were 1,000-plus people standing in line, and some were getting into arguments over people cutting in line.
