A woman at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, 1420 N. Tracy Blvd., reported that a man ran into her car with his bicycle late Tuesday afternoon. He didn’t need medical attention, but he did want her to take him to Wal-Mart to buy him another bicycle.

Tracy police responded to 192 calls for service Tuesday. The following is a sampling of those reports:

12:05 a.m.: A man on the 1500 block of Whispering Wind Drive said three men were knocking on his door and looking into his windows. The men asked the man to open his garage so they could repossess his car, but the man didn’t see a tow truck anywhere, and besides that, he hadn’t missed any car payments. The men were gone when police arrived.

12:15 a.m.: A woman at Byron and Corral Hollow roads reported that someone threw a rock through the back window of her car.

 

1:14 a.m.: A caller on the 1100 block of Roosevelt Avenue reported that some people were possibly smoking drugs in a car parked nearby.

5:31 a.m.: A woman at MacArthur Boulevard and Pescadero Avenue said a semi-truck hit her car in the intersection.

6:02 a.m.: A woman on the 2200 block of Gibraltar Lane said a man was walking in several neighbor’s front yards on her street. The man turned out to be looking for his keys.

7:47 a.m.: A man at the AM/PM market, 3425 N. Tracy Blvd., said he needed to speak to a doctor at the veteran’s hospital but refused to say why. Police were unable to locate the man.

 

7:49 a.m.: A woman on the 1800 block of Tennis Lane reported that she found her car door and center console open.

7:57 a.m.: A woman in a car at Bird and Linne roads reported that a man was masturbating as he drove by.

8:42 a.m.: A caller at Traina School, 4256 Windsong Drive, reported that a Dumpster and some other material by the drinking fountain had burned the night before.

9:27 a.m.: A man at Tracy Park Apartments, 2800 N. Tracy Blvd., reported a theft involving his car.

9:31 a.m.: A man on the 2300 block of Gretchen Elizabeth Court reported that someone was trying to scam him out of his ID and money.

9:36 a.m.: Police arrested a man at In-Shape Health Club, 101 N. Tracy Blvd., after he hit another car with his and drove off.

9:51 a.m.: Police arrested a man at 7-11, 2360 W. Grant Line Road, after he claimed to be a Tracy Fire Department employee looking for smoke that was coming from the building. A 7-11 employee reported that the man tried to get to the back rooms of the store many times.

10 a.m.: A man on the 800 block of Willow Park Lane reported that a man knocked on his door for a long time, and when he answered it, the man said, “Oh, you’re home. I can’t do anything then.” The man said that he was hired by a bank to clean the man’s house, but it wasn’t in foreclosure.

11:26 a.m.: Police arrested a youth for assault on a 15-year-old girl on the 2500 block of Merchant Drive.

11:38 a.m.: A woman on the 1700 block of Laurelgrove Lane reported that a man had called her and said her husband had won a million dollars — and added that he required $1,000 of the winnings.

12:01 p.m.: A caller at Grant Line and Corral Hollow roads reported a man drinking beer in the parking lot before he drove off.

12:19 p.m.: A man at Bank of America, 3120 W. Grant Line Road, reported that his ex-wife was yelling and screaming at him and refused to give him a ride home.

12:52 p.m.: A man at Magnolia Lane and Village Drive reported that he found drugs near some mailboxes and would drive to the police station to turn it in.

12:54 p.m.: A caller reported three men smoking marijuana under an awning in Joseph Tiago Park, 1260 Eastlake Circle.

3:15 p.m.: Police arrested a man for drug possession on the 2400 block of South MacArthur Road.

3:49 p.m.: A caller at Arby’s, 745 W. Clover Road, reported two people smoking marijuana in a pickup in the drive-thru. They were gone when police arrived.

4:34 p.m.: A caller at Hirsch Elementary School, 1280 Dove Drive, reported some boys near the back of the school who started a fire with a T-shirt. The fire department said there was no fire and no sign of the boys.

4:42 p.m.: A caller at Grace Baptist Church, 1330 N. Tracy Blvd., reported that two kids were skateboarding on the roof. They were gone when police arrived.

5:40 p.m.: Police arrested a man for shoplifting at FoodMaxx, 3225 N. Tracy Blvd.

8:21 p.m.: Six youths were asking people for cigarettes and were being aggressive and threatening on the 2800 block of Holly Drive, a caller said.

8:24 p.m.: A woman on the 3100 block of Holly Drive said her boyfriend had been using drugs and was acting strange.

8:27 p.m.: A woman on the 1700 block of Tahoe Circle reported that two teenage boys had “hazed” her daughter earlier in the day and pounded on her house windows.

8:34 p.m.: A woman at Wal-Mart, 3010 W. Grant Line Road, said she lost her purse that contained her wallet and credit cards.

9:01 p.m.: A man on the 100 block of Portola Way reported two men standing in front of his house shining a laser beam into it. 

9:33 p.m.: Police pulled over and arrested a man at Sears, 3350 Naglee Road, on a stolen property warrant.

10:10 p.m.: A caller at VP Gas, 2375 N. Tracy Blvd., reported that he stopped for gas at a 76 station, and all the pumps had signs on them that said “help.” The caller did not go inside to check on the attendant and said there was one car in the parking lot. Police called the gas station, and the clerk said everything was OK.

10:34 p.m.: A caller at Grant Line Road and MacArthur Boulevard said that Luprino Foods was running loud machinery past 10 p.m. Police found nothing that violated the noise ordinance.

 

10:55 p.m.: A woman on the 1400 block of Parkside Drive reported that her 33-year-old son wrecked his car in Oakland and was missing.

11:21 p.m.: A man at Campbell and Jones lanes reported that a man had twice shot his car with a BB gun.

11:52 p.m.: A woman at Chesapeake Bay Apartments, 2941 W. Lowell Ave., said a woman with whom she had problems with in the past had gone to her door and threatened against her.
