San Joaquin County fire crews have once again been called to help battle a Southern California blaze.

Two local strike teams, with a total of 10 engines, left Friday, headed for a Santa Barbara County fire that had destroyed 100 homes.

The Tracy Fire Department was part of the second team, along with Woodbridge Fire District and Manteca and Stockton fire departments.

The first team included the Mokelumne, Linden-Peters, Lathrop-Manteca and Ripon fire districts.

All were headed to what is called the Tea Fire near Montecito.
