Police are looking for witnesses after they arrested three

boys Tuesday following a Zanussi Park robbery.



Investigators say teenagers were at the park April 9 to

watch a fight when one boy and another boy got into an argument and a boy stole

the other’s cell phone.



When the victim tried to get his phone back, he was punched

and kicked by three boys, and had minor injuries.



The suspects attend a local high school, and there were

several witnesses to the attack and want people to come forward and say what saw.

Witnesses are asked to call campus police officer Kami Ysit at 831-4550.



Tracy police received 272 calls for service Wednesday. The

following is a sample of those reports.



12:08 a.m.: A man on the 1600 block of Lavelle Smith Drive

reported several people sent him text messages and made “threats against his

sexuality.”



9:15 a.m.: A man at Gehrig Custom Framing at 757 E. 11th

St. reported that someone stole his box trailer with two cars inside it from

the parking lot. He said the trailer stays in the lot, though he moved it every

couple of weeks. He said there were a 1999 Mercedes Benz and 1989 Ford Ranger

in the trailer.



9:34 a.m.: A man from Subway at 188 W. 10th St.

said two people beat him up with baseball bats the previous night as he was

locking up the store.



10:09 a.m.: A man reported his son was involved in some kind

of fight at Yasui Park on the 400 block of Glenbriar Circle, and that his son

went to the hospital with a possibly broken nose and hand.



10:52 a.m.: Seven teenage boys took off without paying their

$61 bill from IHOP Restaurant, 3120 Naglee Road.



11:14 a.m.: A woman on the 2900 block of Holly Drive

reported a neighbor cut down branches hanging over a fence and threw them back

into the caller’s yard. The caller said she tried to make an arrangement to

have the branches picked up, but the neighbor only cussed her out and continued

to toss branches over the fence. Police told her to stay in her home until

officers arrived.



11:56 a.m.: A caller on the 100 block of Mabel Josephine

Drive reported someone tore apart an air conditioner looking for copper wire.



12:15 p.m.: A caller from Motel 6 at 3810 N. Tracy Blvd.

reported that a man driving around the parking lot and knocking on a door had a

black gun in a side holster. Police were later told the man had a big cell

phone, not a gun.



12:43 p.m.: A caller was talking with a friend at 11th

Street and Tracy Boulevard when six guys threw a can of something at the

caller’s car and ran off.



1:07 p.m.: A woman reported man driving a Charger near

Corral Hollow and 11th Street cut her off. When she put her hand up,

the man stopped his car in the street, got out and walked toward her. She

backed up and took off at that point, and the guy driving the Charger got on

Interstate 580.



2:39 p.m.: A caller from Tracy Pontiac Cadillac GMC at 2628

Robertson Drive reported a customer bounced a $5,000 check.



3:16 p.m.: Police cited a man that an employee detained for

attempting to steal copper wire from Moore Technologies, 1905 N. MacArthur

Drive.



3:40 p.m.: Two men were seen fighting at Central Elementary

School, 1370 Parker Ave.



3:45 p.m.: A girl was seen hitting another girl while a

crowd watched at Kavanagh Avenue and Holly Drive.



4:57 p.m.: Kids in a dark green Mazda were seen driving

around with the doors open and doing “sideshow tricks” at Valpico and Chrisman

roads.



5:04 p.m.: A woman from Subway at 2449 Naglee Road said she

lost her ATM card and someone was using at businesses around town.



5:05 p.m.: A man on the 700 lock of East Grant Line Road

reported someone stole tools from his toolbox at work.



5:17 p.m.: A caller on the 1600 block of Swarthout Court

reported two kids in a pine tree shooting birds with a pellet or BB gun.



7:38 p.m.: A caller reported someone smashed a car window

and stole a laptop computer from the 1300 block of Peppertree Way.



7:39 p.m.: A woman from the 3400 block of Patch Lane

reported two 12-year-old girls from her daughter’s school grabbed her wallet

and then ran away when only her 13-year-old daughter was home.



7:48 p.m.: A caller from the 400 block of East Ninth Street

reported her sister stole the caller’s jewelry.



9:46 p.m.: A caller from the 4400 block of Glenbrook Drive

reported someone smashed the passenger window of the caller’s car.



9:52 p.m.: A caller from the Shell gas station at 2375 W.

Grant Line Road reported the driver of a orange pickup with a truck rack

damaged the car wash and then gave false insurance information.
